Madelyn turns 3!
Our baby girl is 3!! Madelyn is talking so much more and having pretty smart conversations with her daddy and I that we are sometimes in awe with what she cleverly comes up with. She in a princess kick right now and loves to "dress up" in pretty clothes... she is definitely all girl!! She still loves her stories, knows almost all her letters, and is quite the good singer! Madelyn is such an amazing big sister to Ayden we are so blessed that she truly adores him and has so far, done really well with having a sibling to share mom and dad with. She is definitely a daddy's girl right now with no complaints from daddy :) We are so proud of Maddy and we are both excited to see what fun experiences our new "3 year old" will bring!

All Comers Track
This summer Madelyn participated in All Comers Track at Burlington Highschool. It is track events for all ages, and one of her little friends did it last year and had such a good time that we decided to give it a try this year and was it ever FUN!!! Madelyn truly loved it so much she couldn't stop talking about it. She participated in the 50 meter hurdles, the 50 meter sprint, and the 100 meter sprint! Everyone gets ribbons for running however they do hand out special ribbons for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runners in each heat (I know it's so Olympic sounding isn't it). The program is every Wednesday evening for 6 weeks during the summer. I think I had as much fun as Madelyn getting her ready (complete with adorable track outfits of course) and cheering her on in each race. Bryan had to miss the first couple meets but was able to make it to the last few and was just as proud of her as I was. Grandpa Ger, and Grandma Pam along with Aunt Carly, Aunt Stacey and lots of friends came to watch our little track star. She loved to "run fast" with her friends Torance and Isabella. We can't wait to do it all again next summer!!

1st Haircut
Yes, that's right our son is 3 months old and getting his first haircut!! It wasn't really planned, but Madelyn was in for her "summer" trim and I was asking about getting Ayden's haircut and Madelyn's stylist had an opening, soooo we got a big boy haircut! Ayden did extremely well, didn't make a peep the whole time, it probably felt good to get the long locks off his neck and out of his ears! He looks so much more grown up however is still just as adorable as ever!

Time with Julia and Gabe
In June, Bryan had a firefighter conference in Vancouver, WA. So we all decided to go and spend time in Portland with Aunt Julia and Uncle Gabe! The weather was gorgeous and HOT which made it that much more fun for all of us to be outside and play! We went to the Portland Zoo, went swimming at our hotel, and just enjoyed spending time together as a family. We miss Julia and Gabe not living closer but having them live in such a beautiful city gives us good reason to get out and take a mini vacation to visit Portland more often. We love you guys!!

Coos Bay Trip
At the end of June we took a trip to visit family and celebrate our nephew Sam's 1st birthday in Coos Bay, Oregon. It was Ayden's first "long" car trip and he did great!! It was so relaxing and nice to spend time all together! We spent time at the beach which Madelyn LOVED! She especially liked being buried in the sand by Daddy! We also walked to the park with great grandma Lane to feed the ducks and climb and run all around the playground. Thank you Grandma Cathy and Grandpa Dave for providing a place for everyone to sleep and hang out at. We love our Oregon family so much! Here are some pictures of our fun filled trip!

Memorial Day Fun
Bryan's sister Christa, brother in law Kelt and our beautiful nephew Rane drove all the way from southern Oregon to visit us and to meet Ayden. We had great weather and spent most of our time outside in our backyard "walking" around with Rane and watching Maddy show off her stuff! Grandpa Bud and Grandma Dixie came up as well to spend time with all the grandbabies since we were all together, guess who was more tired at the end of the day the kids or Grandma Dixie.... :) Thank you for making the long trip to visit us Reeves family we appreicated it so much!!
