The Harris Family: April 2009

On March 30th our sweet baby boy turned 1! I can't believe how fast this year went by! He is so busy which of course keeps us busy and next thing you know he's a year old. Since he has been walking for about 3 months now he thinks he can conquer just about anything.... he goes up and down the stairs by himself now, he climbs up anything he is strong enough to climb and loves to open ALL cupboard doors including drawers in every room. He is quite the "talker" too, he is saying things like, "what's that?", "fire truck", "da da da", "dog", "I did it!", "go go go go", "woof", and the list goes on.... He loves playing chase with Madelyn and Daddy, and he bursts into giggles if he thinks you are about to "get him". He is full of mischief but at the same time a sweet and caring little boy!

We decided to have Ayden's birthday party at the Children's Museum which turned out to be perfect for all of the birthday boy's pint sized friends and their older siblings! :) He did really well and didn't have any melt downs, the only big cry we got was right after Maddy helped blow out his candle he accidentally stuck his finger in the hot wax... ouch! A few tears were shed but once he tasted the sweet frosting everything seemed better. Here are some pictures from the party. Enjoy!
